Inkjet Transfers vs. Laserjet Transfer
Laserjets use a dry pigment in the copier/printer.
Inkjets use wet inks in the copier/priner.
Each one demands a different process (usually just a different solvent) to transfer the image.

quick subtractive monotype (figure)
roll up a solid dark tone of ink
make sure the layer is thin and even
choose a subject and focus on the light areas
use a piece of paper towel to remove ink and create the light areas
draw lines with the back of a paintbrush
pull out more light areas with a cotton swab
blend and give some directional texture with a dry brush
and you have a very fast monotype with some interesting textures
